The Tech Parties Begin: Complete Guide to Collision After Parties 2024

Collision Guide

Collision Conference is back in Toronto this year from June 17-20, 2024. Known as the “Olympics of tech,” Collision brings together 2,000 startups, 40,000+ attendees, and 1,000+ investors annually. The scale of this conference is absolutely massive. There are many opportunities for attendees to immerse themselves in thought-provoking talks, explore groundbreaking exhibitions, and build new connections that could propel their ideas to new heights. Let’s embrace the spirit of collaboration and discovery. As the name suggests, Collision aims to bring collaboration and spotlight to some of the upcoming tech innovations. The conference features a number of programs such as startup competitions, speaker series, exhibitions, and a media center.

Last year’s startup competition featured some rising startups such as Bidmii. The Toronto-based startup appeared on Canadian national TV a few weeks ago for disrupting the home renovation industry. Bidmii is completely reimagining the way home renovation is done. The platform has curated contractors and service providers for homeowners, giving them peace of mind.

Previously, Katherine Wong Too Yen wrote a guide on how to navigate Collision so you can make the most out of this conference. This year’s event looks to be another stellar gathering with some heavy hitters in tech. Notable names include Geoffrey Hinton, the godfather of AI, Vinod Khosla, founder of Khosla Ventures, and Jeff Shiner, CEO of 1Password.

Michael Liu and the team at Ace Social have put together a complete guide to all the events and after-parties in Toronto to help attendees navigate the conference and events. You can check out events based on themes you wish to attend. For the most updated list of events, check out the spreadsheet link here.
