NTangible Brings Mental Fitness Tech to RFK Racing in Push to Elevate Pit Crew Performance

Toronto Startups NTangible

Mental fitness startup NTangible is bringing its predictive assessment technology to the high-speed world of motorsports through a new partnership with RFK Racing, marking the company’s latest expansion into elite athletic environments.

The Concord, N.C.-based racing team announced this week that NTangible will serve as its official mental fitness partner, providing advanced cognitive and psychological evaluations for its pit crews as part of the RFK Tek Alliance. The move underscores a growing recognition in professional sports that mental resilience is as critical as physical preparation when the pressure is on.

“RFK is setting the standard for what elite teams should expect from their support systems,” said Dan Connerty, CEO of NTangible. “By focusing not just on physical training but on the unseen mental game, they’re putting their crew members in position to succeed in the moments that matter most. That’s exactly what NTangible is built for.”

Founded to serve elite performers, NTangible’s platform evaluates traits like composure, processing speed, and role compatibility within minutes, aiming to help coaches and performance directors identify individuals who thrive in high-stakes environments. Unlike broad personality tests, NTangible’s tools are purpose-built for high-performance settings and are already in use across professional baseball, football, and Olympic teams.

“Integrating NTangible’s platform into our talent pipeline equips us with a data-driven approach to evaluating and developing mental fitness,” said Doug Randolph, Partner and Performance Director for RFK Racing. “This partnership enhances our ability to recruit individuals with the right mental attributes for high-stakes environments and to tailor development programs that optimize decision-making, composure, and adaptability.”

For NTangible, the RFK Racing partnership is an opportunity to demonstrate the value of mental fitness assessments in motorsports, where races can be won or lost in fractions of a second, and pit crews must operate with total focus under extreme pressure. The company’s assessments will now be integrated into RFK Racing’s crew selection, training, and ongoing development processes.

As the first mental fitness-focused member of the RFK Tek Alliance, NTangible joins a group of technology and performance partners working to push the boundaries of competitive racing. The partnership will also serve as a proving ground for NTangible’s technology as it looks to expand further into professional sports and beyond.

With the mental side of performance becoming a differentiator in elite environments, NTangible’s expansion into motorsports signals a shift toward treating cognitive readiness as a measurable, trainable asset — and not just an intangible factor.
