Entrepreneurship comes with lots of ups and downs, as they say. No one can say this better than fellow entrepreneurs, as most people won’t understand the hardships of creating a new business. This post brings you some lighthearted moments in video format:
1. When you Find the perfect .com domain
Finding a domain name for your startup is absolutely the worst. This is especially the case for dot com as everything is taken! But there are times when you might hit the jackpot and we think it can happen for a .com domain. The feeling of that looks like this!
2. You need both product and marketing. Period.
Another day, another feature; another day without sales! We’ve all been there—you need both marketing and sales for a startup to succeed. It’s very tempting to sit behind the computer and write code, as no one wants to do sales at a startup.
3. Adding features won’t help with marketing.
If you keep adding features without marketing it goes no where! We have seen this story too many times when founders start their startups. Avoid falling into this trap like the plague.
4. Negotiation with the co-founder like a pro!
This scene perfect describes what’s it like to split equity with a cofounder. Many startups miss the mark because they give out too little equity. Have you seen those co-founder descriptions? Can you build this idea for 2% of this company and sign an NDA? Forget about it.
5. Dealing with churn is brutal.
Dealing with the churn more or less looks like this. The key is do everything to keep those customers!
6. Startup advice from those who never done a startup
Founders are bombarded with startup advice on a daily basis, but usually, it’s from those who have never done a startup before or been an early-stage team member. So when these pieces of advice are implemented, they often end up going nowhere!
7. So you want to be an entrepreneur?
This is an absolutely brilliant film made by Snowman Films! It really depicts the reality of entrepreneurship that founders have to go through.
8. Nothing matches the thrill of scaling a startup
Scaling is the most fun part of the startup. This scene from the movie Top Gun Maverick clearly demonstrates.
9. When you get a sales at a bootstrapping startup
10. “The Problem we are trying to solve”
This scene from MoneyBall is so relatable.
That is a wrap for this post. Have you seen any startup meme videos we should check out? Let us know!
