Toronto Tech Week is the city’s marquee moment for innovation, where founders pitch, VCs connect, and developers dive deep into what’s next. But as the official programming wraps up, there’s one event bringing the week to a thrilling close: SUPERCOLLIDER — the essential afterparty uniting Toronto’s sprawling tech communities for one unforgettable night.
Held at Greta Bar, SUPERCOLLIDER isn’t just another networking event — it’s a celebration of the people and communities that power the city’s tech ecosystem. With arcade game tournaments, food, drinks, and high-energy social interaction, it’s designed to break down silos and create lasting connections.
“There are all these amazing communities, but they are all operating more or less separately and in isolation,” said Myles Harrison of PRAKTIKAI, one of the event’s organizers. “Wouldn’t it be amazing to bring all of these people together into the same room for one massive social event across disciplines?”
What began as a grassroots idea between Harrison and Ryan Ovas, founder of Polar Labs, has grown into one of the most anticipated unofficial events of Tech Week. “There’s a ton of events where you can meet people and share your LinkedIn QR code,” said Ovas. “But there’s not many where you make real friends who help each other out beyond mutually beneficial transactions.”
Toronto Tech Communities Highlights
From communities like MLTO, Data Drinks, and APIs & IPAs, to newcomers, founders, and VCs, SUPERCOLLIDER aims to unite everyone—no matter where they sit in the stack. “We can’t wait to welcome others—from far and wide—to be a part, in addition to everyone already here who’s a part of Toronto’s fantastic grassroots tech communities,” Harrison added. The excitement is already rippling across the ecosystem. Organizations are stepping up to support what they see as a much-needed convergence of community, celebration, and connection.
“Graphite Ventures is one of Canada’s most active seed-stage venture capital firms, investing in bold founders building capital-efficient B2B software companies,” said Jude Sacramenthas. “We’re excited to join SUPERCOLLIDER to celebrate Toronto’s thriving tech ecosystem and connect with the innovators, builders, and communities driving it forward.”
“TechTank is a fun, welcoming space for anyone in tech to learn, grow, and find their people — whether you’re just starting out or deep in the game,” said Niki Fereidooni, who runs the CodeDiversity series. “SUPERCOLLIDER feels like the perfect kind of chaos — bringing the whole ecosystem together to celebrate what makes tech exciting: the people.”
“APIs and IPAs is excited to support SUPERCOLLIDER because it’s exactly the kind of community-powered event that brings Toronto’s tech scene to life,” said Riaz Virani. “It’s a chance to break out of our silos, connect across disciplines, and celebrate what makes this city such a vibrant place to build.”
“The team enjoys bringing the community together, and it is a pleasure to support the Toronto tech scene,” added Augusto Rosa from the Snowflake User Group – Toronto.
With a ticket that includes food, drinks, and arcade credits, SUPERCOLLIDER delivers both tangible value and a strong sense of belonging. It’s a night to celebrate what makes tech in Toronto so special. Whether you’re building the next unicorn or just found your first job in tech, SuperCollider promises to be a party for everyone — and a fitting end to a week that’s all about what’s next.
